Workshops

Teaching is my absolute favorite! It’s one of the things I miss most about working in professional kitchens - sharing knowledge with a team of folks, and in turn being so inspired by the way they take that information and make it their own. Keep an eye on my instagram or newsletter for future workshop, but I am also available for private and corporate workshops! If you’ve always wanted to learn how to expertly stack, fill, frost or decorate a cake, then my group workshops are perfect for you! Wild Color

I predominantly use natural ingredients to add color to my desserts, and this was a cake decorating workshop centered all around the vibrancy of nature. We layered our cakes, learned how to mix different natural products to tint our buttercreams, and then decorated with flowers from my garden.

Fall Baking Workshop

with Salt Spoon

This one was a blast! In collaboration with my friend Eric of Salt Spoon, we hosted an all-day fall baking course. This is the most intensive of the workshops I’ve taught and it was so fun to really dig into the details of how to make a cake from start to finish. The day was punctuated with a whole brunch spread by Eric, and an afternoon course on batching cocktails.

Valentine’s Day Sweetheart Workshop

This was a fun n’ flirty workshop where we decorated heart-shaped cakes and learned some vintage piping techniques.
